Positioning Text

I am having a problem positioning my text where I want it in the frame. I use the Media Generator to compose my text but it always places it in the bottom right hand quarter of my image, even though it is shown in the center of the MG Placement window. I have tried moving it around in the Placement window but the left side always gets cropped in the image window. I have tried moving it in the Pan/Crop window and it will only move vertically. If I resize the frames it also gets cropped at the left side. I have looked all through the manual which hasn't helped. I must be missing something. Please help. RonR.

Check the left side of your pan/crop window. I don't know the official name for it, but there is an arrow set which changes when you click on it (4-ways, vertical, horizontal). If you can only move vertically, then you'll probably see "Up/down" arrows. Click on it until you get the 4-way and you'll be able to move it anywhere.

I use the placement tab on the generated media window allk the time with no problem. Make sure you have your safe zone set at at least 10% for text, because what you see on your computer screen will be cropped out in your render.

Thanks for the help. I was able to position the text using the Track Motion tab.
