Possible bug linked to the 99 chapters limitation

Hello all,

Here is my problem :
- I have a TV series I would like to authorize on DVD. I have 120 episodes of 30 seconds. Knowing about the 99 chapters limitation I decided to make 2 big mpegs, with each 60 chapters. I made 12 menus, each linking to 10 episodes. DVDA doesnt scream out (as it does when you have a huge movie with more than 99 chapters). It even works great in Preview mode.
But not when I generate the DVD files on disk. All my DVD software players, play 99 (or 98) files correctly but then crashes on the next one...
- Dont know what to do. I authorized another DVD last year on DVDLAB, and could fit 160 episodes, without the 99 limitation per movie.
- I am beginning to wonder if DVDA has a sort of bug that prevents it from having 99 chapters on the whole DVD, and not only on a per movie basis.
Or I didnt properly understand the generic DVD limitations. But then, why would it work fine on DVDlab?

Could anyone help me out?
Thanks in advance,

Beugnet

Y'know, I'd love to, but before I answer someone's questions, I generally try to duplicate their situation. So I can see the current behavior for myself, assuming DVDA acts the same way for me as it does for them.

But sitting here plugging in 120 chapters...? I dunno if I've got the time for that.... <g>

Hey Rob,

Yeah I totally understand :)
Just try imagining yourself in my position, where I have actually plugged in everything, previewed it correctly, and realised in the end that, well, it wont work...
A bit frustrating, to say the least.
