Possible bug with NeatVideo 4 and Vegas

Need help tracking down a possilbe NeatVideo 4 bug. This came up in another thread. I've simplified it so eveyone using NeatVideo4 can try this without downloading a .veg

1. Place an audio event on the Track 1 (mp3 or wav is all I tested)
2. Place a video event on Track 2 (I used MTS files that edit easily for me)
3. Trim the video event so it is no longer the entirety of the media.
4. Right click the video event to get the pulldown menu.
5. Select MEDIA FX in the pulldown menu to get the Plug-in chooser.
6. Chose NeatVideo (Reduce Noise v4)
7. Add the NeatVideo FX

This should bring up the usual NeatVideo window. From here try to apply the NeatVideo.

What happens with an audio track on top when you apply NeatVideo to the Media using the Event Pullodown menu? Does it Freeze Vegas? If you place the audio track below the video, does it work normally?

I've never used NeatVideo as MediaFX. Always as Event FX or Track FX (NeatVideo gives warning in the last case). Are there any particular reason to use MediaFX?

I'd expect slowness in this case.

UPDATE: Confirmed. Not depend on position of audio in my case. Freezed even when NeatVideo was applied on not trimmed media.

I used NeatVideo 5 and can confirm the freeze when I added an audio track above the initial Video+audio track.

When its added below, no freeze, just the NV warning ...

@Former user .. @fifonik .. Thanks for confirming. I don't think I've seen the NV warning about using Media FX in NV4. So I'd say NeatVideo is aware of some problems when using Media FX and NV.

This began in another thread where the OP seems to want to apply NV as Media FX. The odd behavior is when an audio track is on top.
