To the best of my knowledge this was / is a problem in V8 as well, velocity envelopes produce horrid results in the fapi file and that's what you see in the parent project. All is well in the final render from the parent however. I assume from what you're saying you're getting the same problem in the final render?

One thing to be aware of is child projects are rendered into the parent at the child's project settings. This can be great or cause you problems if you don't watch out for it.

I'd suggest you check you child project and ensure it's set to Best.
If that doesn't fix it then report the problem to SCS pronto.
