pre-render to avi

Hello. I am working on a large project for broadcast television. This project has a lot of graphics and text and so I would like to render portions to avi files and put them all together in another instance of vegas and do a final render to mgpeg2. However, when I go to render to avi, my text graphics seem slightly pixelated. What can I do to get a good file to use in my final project? This project is to be aired tonight and so any quick responses would be greatly appreciated!!!

The first question that comes to my mind is, What is the resolution/size of the graphics to begin with? I've never had the problems you've described.

IIRC, it's suggested for NTSC that this type of material be 150 dpi and 655x480; 300 dpi will also work; stored in a loss-less format such as PNG. Maybe having too high a resolution is causing problems?

Set your preview to Best, and all should be well.
