Pre-Rendered Video Woes

Hi. What shortcut is used to Pre-Render Video? The Reason I ask is because at least 5 times now, when attempting to save a Pan/Crop preset, as I'm typing the preset name, a pre-render video box pops up and it's creating hundreds of files, with no way to cancel it. I either have to wait it out, or kill Vegas to get it to stop. How do I kill this process without shutting Vegas down and losing my work? Is it also possible to prevent Vegas from creating hundreds or pre-render files? And why pre-render? I don't know what quality it's saving as, and would rather not have all these files clogging up my system.

But the most important is to kill this process while it's happening. If trying to hit cancel, I have to be quick because the it creates so many small files, and if I'm quick enough to hit the cancel button, the next one just pops up, it doesn't actually stop the pre-render. Any help would be appreciated.

@anthony-chiappette Hi, Shift+M, you might want to change Dynamic ram also, I changed the latter to Alt+B.

Thank you. I have changed these to SHIFT+PAGEUP and SHIFT+PAGEDOWN. Now I see why it happens, because I always use the name TEMP when saving pan/crop and PIP presets. Somehow, while typing the name, the pan/crop or PIP windows lose focus.

If for some reason the prerendering starts, is there no way to stop it?

@anthony-chiappette Hi, the Cancel button on the pop-up should work, I just tried it & it worked for me..

I forgot about this thread. In relation to your last reply, It's creating hundreds of pre-renders very rapidly, like a second or two, by the time I am able to click the cancel button, the next prerender starts. Even clicking cancel at the bottom left in the status bar doesn't stop it as they are created so quickly. But since changing the shortcut keys, I haven't had the issue. Thanks again.
