Preference File Name

I am experiencing strange things in V4 and think I may have to reinstall. Does anyone know the preference file name in V4 and where it is located? I want to save it and use it after the reinstall.

Well, since no one seems to know, I found the answer on Creative Cow. Apparently the preferences are in the registry. The key name can be found on CC. I'm posting this in case anyone else had such a question.
