Preferences for the new video card

Just finished building a new system. Part of the build is an MSI GeForce GTX 1070 Ti video card. I'm guessing I need to let Vegas know that I have a GPU. Can someone please walk me through the settings? Also, I usually render mp4 files. Some are full 4K 30fps and 60fps, and some are 1080p 60fps. Any particular setting I need to adjust when doing Render As?

Thank you!

Options/Preferences/Video/GPU acceleration. Your card should show up in the list. Using GPU acceleration is optional.

Once you have ensured your GPU pops up in the settings menu as described above, also be sure to select one of the "NVENC" presets from the MAgix AVC codec to see the full benefits of your card when rendering.

Thank you for the answers. Went from 48-min encode on my old Intel HP box to 9-mins for the same project on the new box with the 1070!
