Premiere Virtual clips

I've been looking at switching to VV4 from Premiere and have been disappointed with the apparent lack of an equivalent to the Premiere's virtual clip. Is there such a thing and I'm just missing it?

I occasionally need to composite clips, errr events, together and apply color correction to the result. I also occasionally do other things in a similar vein that virtual clips are useful for. It's a shame to have to render an intermediate file to solve the problem.

Also, does VV has an equivalent to external bins? The whole media pool interface seems clunky to me.

I like the permanent vectorscope, etc. display but the scopes are not as nice as I'm used to in Video Finesse. Seems like that could be fixed easily.

Finally, I'd like to add my name to the list of those interested in support of the GR-HD1. I'm hoping to begin using it underwater soon.

Premiere in total seems clunky to many of us.

Usually to get this quality of help you need to go to a mac forum. If Premiere's so clunky, show me how to do a virtual clip the elegant way, BiilyBoy.

Thanks. I found that but it seemed way to difficult. What I really want to do is combine events, then apply effects to the combination.

OK. This looks like the closest substitute. Thanks.
