Prepare and Burn Trouble

I have two mpeg files on the stage both are about 600 megs each - when I try to prepare and burn I get a line in the prepare window at the bottom after the files included that there isn't enough space in the Temp directory to accomplish this.
Why is that?m What can be done about it?

WINXP 256 RAM

Go to Options>Preferences>Burning, and redirect your temp files to where there is more space.
