Prerender error, you had this prob?

When I choose, "selectively prerender" I get the following:

An error occurred while creating the media file Vegas Prerendered Video File 0000.mpg

The reason for the error could not be determined.

When I click ok it goes to the same message again but increases the number to 0001, then 0002, etc.. Until done. The same thing happened before I upgraded to version e. It still happens with version e and is occurring on two different computers. What could be the cause of this?
thanks,
Carson

First of all, you shouldn't be pre-rendering to MPG (pre-render to DV-AVI). Secondly, check the amount of free space on your pre-render drive and your temporary files drive. Sounds like one of them is full.

I have over 70 GB free on both hard drives on one computer. On the other computer I have over 30 GB. Thanks for the tip to switch to dv avi. I should have thought of that earlier. When I switched the render to that format it worked fine. I guess I won't have to worry about this problem since the better, desireable, output type works.
