I NEED HELP! I have put together a slide show for about 17 minutes. It renders slow or not at all. I never have this problem, but I use PA to put this one together. Are the transitions slowing it down?

I made another one the other day the exact same way and had no problem.

I NEED THIS TONIGHT! MY JOB IS ON THE LINE! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!

You need to provide us with what type of images you are using- how big they are and what is different between this project and the other.

Also, make sure your track level opacity slider is not lower than 100%.

The only thing PA does is remote control of the veg file. I can't imagine how it would or could do something to hose your render. Standard Vegas transitions will not slow down a render by much if at all.

1. Are you using only photos or are there other types of media? If so, what?
2. What is the resolution of the photos? Prior to V9 Vegas had issues with photos over 2000 x 2000 in size.
3. Even if you're in V9 and using very high rez photos it might appear to be doing nothing when in fact it's just taking a long time to render.
4. What file type are these photos?
5. What template or output are you trying to render to? What happens when you render from Vegas by itself without going through PA?

It's probably running out of memory.

I would batch resize the photos to around two times your output quality.

Use 1440x960 maximum.

Try the free Able Batch Converter.
