I have two desktop systems running Vegas. One of my ongoing chores is to try to keep both systems identical so I can work interchangeably on them.
Today I uses Sony's Preset Manager to copy 50 or so FX Chains into a preset package. The preset package saved without problem, but when I tried to open it I got an error message that the file was "not in a supported format, or contains an unrecoverable error." (I get the error even when opening the package on the computer that created it.)
After a lot of testing, I found that FX Chains containing Izotope RX2 presets would fail if there was more than one of them in the package.
I can save Izotope presets that are in the FX Plug-Ins folder, but hit this problem when saving them in chains. Ironically, I just wanted to copy my video FX Chains, but I can't see any way in Preset Manager to distinguish audio from video. Any thoughts?
