Has anybody tried using the FaderPort with Vegas (any version)?

As is often the case, the ad verbage claims compatibility with just about every DAW except Vegas. Are we the lost children of Binary World?

Getting the Faderport to work in Vegas (or ACID) is really not possible.

- There is no native support provided. We don't supply a driver like we do for the Mackie Control and Tranzport.

- We discovered that the Generic Control driver does not work with the Fader Port due to an issue in handling the specific MIDI messages that Faderport sends when configured in its native protocol. We have addressed this and it will be part of a future update.
