Prev / Next only work in preview

I have made several DVDs with VMS and DVDA with multiple chapters... This past week I discovered that the next chapter/previous chapter function does not work... I don't guess I had ever tested a finished disk until now - when I found that it didn't work, I checked the project in the "preview disk" portion of DVDA, and it does work there.
I have tested this latest project on 2 different DVD players, and it doesn't work on either - so I don't think it's a player issue.

Any reason it would work in the preview, but not on the actual disk?

Making DVDs is still kind of a black art. Lots of players don't handle the entire DVD command set, or interpret commands differently. The preview function in DVDA emulates some of the more popular types of players, but is by no means representative of all players.

I've had the exact same problem you describe and other similar ones too. Sometimes doing the Prepare step over again and burning a new disc fixes it. A few times i've started over from scratch and gotten a DVD that plays fine. Sorry, this isn't a very hopeful reply, but i wanted to let you know you're not alone.
