Preview Audio

I am editing on a slower computer...on the preview window there is button that displays on external monitor, I click that and it it shows the video on my camcorder..is there away to make sound come threw on the camcorder instead of my computer while previewing?

No, this has never been possible. Video gets sent to the camcorder, audio get sent to the computer's soundcard. I'm not exactly sure why it has to work this way, but it does.

dang so it isn't possible...because other wise I can preview on my camera and hit record instead of having to render....but guess its kinda pointless with no sound. Are you positive there is no way todo it?

I'll point out though that if you are able to get a good enough preview for recording then rendering should take very little time. On the other hand, if you had a project that would take a longer time to render then it probably won't preview smoothly at all and you wouldn't want to have a recording of the preview output.
