Which kind of display, with what connection and most important where connected on your hardware. Did you identified both displays and what does Windows say about that?

I've got a Dell Inspiron with a cracked screen, so I have an Element TV (not sure what model) as my main display via HDMI. The second monitor is a Dell monitor connected with a VGA port. I've got Display Settings set to Extend These Displays. When I identify the displays, the 1 and 2 appear on the correct monitors. In all aspects the monitor setup behaves correctly. Seems to be only when I run Movie Studio that I encounter any issues.

Maybe a stupid question, but what exactly do you trying to see on the second display where you ask: " I'm trying to preview on a second monitor" .
This possibilitie is only for for the video that is loaded or plays in the explorer or Project Media, not for your UI

I'm trying to get the video preview. There's a button for "Video preview on external monitor (Alt+Shift+4)" But when I do this the external monitor just becomes a blank white screen.
