Preview from project media not coming up

Recently I have updated to Vegas 8C and since I have done this I have run into a silly little problem I was hoping you all could help me out with.
Before, when I clicked on a single click on a video clip that is in the project media tab, in most instances an .m2t file, a preview would begin to play in the video preview window along with audio. I know that I accomplished this by clicking the auto-preview button on the toolbar.
Now, though, when I attempt to do the auto-preview by single clicking, all I get is audio and nothing in the preview window. When I drag the clips to the timeline, then I can see the video and everything is just fine in the preview window. Is there a setting I am missing here? Anything you could help a fella out with? Thanks.

From the 8.0c Readme:

When the Show Video Monitor button in the Trimmer window is selected, video that you preview from the Vegas Explorer and Media Manager windows is played back in the Trimmer. Because the Trimmer is placed in the same window dock as the Explorer and Media Manager, you will not see your video preview. To preview Explorer and Media Manager video, you can drag the Trimmer to a new dock group, or you can turn off the Show Video Monitor button to preview in the Video Preview window.

Thanks for the info. I also had the same problem in that my media files would play audio but not the video in the preview window. I went to the trimmer menu and de slected the show monitor botton and now everything ok.

Appreciate the info
