Preview in Player

If I double click an m2t file in windows explorer the media player works fine. If I use the "Preview to player" render in Vegas to HDV108i m2t the media player will not start and the error message says that there is nothing to play these files. What's the deal?

Hmm...I hadn't tested that. But you're right, it's not linking, and I've checked my assignments in Control Panel too. I'm digging into it, maybe you can do the same...it might be that Vegas isn't linking the file format.

Played a bit with the registry. The media player puts the m2t file ending in a special folder all by itself. I can't find the other file endings yet.
