Preview looks acceptable - Render not so much

I sped up some helmet cam footage by CTRL-Dragging the size of the clip. There was lots of fast motion due to helmet motion. The video preview looks OK. The render looks terrible.

Clip 1080-30p, speed about 3X. Render as Sony AVC 1080-30p. Vegas Pro V13.

It looks as if the render superimposed 3 or 4 frames on each output frame. Maybe decimation would have worked better. Does anyone have suggestions for how to make this look better?

Here is a frame capture of some rocks moving past as I swivel my head:

Right click on the clip and disable resample then re-render.

Right click on the clip and disable resample then re-render at EXACTLY 2x speed or 4x speed and nothing else!
If you need more control, investigate Twixtor.

Amazing improvement! Thank you Jerry K and musicvid10. That exactly fixed the problem.

St3v3, by the way I disable resample on all my clips before rendering. If I leave resample enabled and render out any time the camera pans horizontally that footage has judder/jitter/ghosting what ever its called it looks bad.

That's good to know Jerry. I've give that a try.
