I'm using Vegas 8 and I capture using a Sony HVR-M25U deck via fire wire. I'm trying to enable a NTSC external monitor connected via component to the M25U. My capture is fine and it recognizes the M25U deck but my "preview devices" tab in Vegas says "Hot plugable device Device unavailable" when I select the OHCI Compliant IEEE 1394/DV option.

I've restarted and checked all connections but no luck. Any ideas? thakns in advance!
