Preview not showing?

I am having a problem all of the sudden where I can not see video in the preview screen. Frame moves, I hear audio but preview window is black. Happens with all file types. Am I missing a setting or is this a known issue? I am using pro 8.0c build 260

Read the "readme" file to see the changes made in Vegas 8.0c.

You can open the trimmer window and click on the third button from the right. Then it will preview the way it used to instead of previewing in the trimmer.
