Preview screen mess

On my preview screen (not separate display screen) I am, occasionally getting effects panels showing up- bleeding thru and locking up the preview window, haven't lost any work or suffered the Sony frosty screen of death but any clues about this? It goes away when I slightly resize or nudge the window

Sounds like a resource issue.

What are your computer specs and what's your operating system? Which version of the program are you using?

What graphics card do you have? Have you got graphics acceleration enabled in the program?

Video Card: AMD R9-270
Sound Card: RealTec
Video Capture: None
CD Burner: Samsung
DVD Burner:
I am using latest ver 13
I am dealing with XAVC UHD Files however. (might have something to do with it)
When I make (in Sony) a proxie does anyone know if the trimmer uses it?
