Preview TV resolution

This might be related to Windows 10, but it used to work. When I preview a 1920 x 1080 video thru my HDMI connected Toshiba Monitor,(using the preview device setup) the video is enlarged so that I only see about half of it on the screen. All settings seem to be correct and I have the latest Nvidia driver. (which could also be the problem). any ideas?

No problem here with Win10.  Make sure that your display resolution settings are set to 1920 x 1080 inside the Nvidia control panel.

Wwaag, thanks. I have checked all of that. Reloaded drivers, etc. Stil the same. If I switch to a DVI connected monitor that is only 1440 x 900, it scales correctly. But on the Toshiba TV, 1920 x 1080,it is enlarged. The TV reports the correct resolution, but the actual image is enlarged.
