I have searched through about 1/3 of the 3000+ DVDA posts and have gotten a little idea of what I'm up against.
Here's my question:
Can I create a menu that allows me to scroll through a list of buttons that link to scenes and when highlighted, the scene will preview in a small window? When the next button is highlighted, its video will replace the previous scene in the same window. When the button is selected, the movie will play from that scene forward. If this requires separate menus for each scene, it sounds like too much work.
I guess its sort of a rollover effect with a split screen.
An alternative would be to have the buttons fixed in position and the video for each button static unless highlighted and, when highlighted, the video becomes active and is enlarged but in the same position.
I know it sounds like a complex operation and may not be possible in DVDA, but can masking perhaps provide a suitable approximation of this effect?
Any suggestions appreciated, but looking for the simplest solution. Ideally, I would like to do this from inside DVDA.
