Previewing on other monitors.

Vegas 4.0 allows you to undock your preview window and view it on a separate monitor, that's great. You also need to view your edited footage on a broadcast monitor to verify contrast and color's composition before rendering to a final project. How can I do this is to retain the view on my other monitor? Other people I've talked to using other DV editing programs use what is called a breakout box, allowing them to send video and sound to alternate sources with no restrictions from the debut editing software their using.
Suggestions on how this can be accomplished with Vegas video 4.0

I dont believe this is possible in Vegas--once you go out to an external, the preview box blackens---and the signal is sent through your firewire device into the monitor----Why do you need to see your preview box when you go out to an external???

You're absolutely right to why do I need to? I don't. Moving to preview to another monitor actually makes editing much simpler, giving more space on the editing screen, personalizing the editing functions. The question is still, I know I can move to preview to a LCD monitor. I would prefer to use a NTSC broadcast monitor instead, killing two birds with one stone, sense I have limited desktop space. Do you see any problem doing this? Thanks for your help.
