It has been a while since I have used Vegas extensively but I seem to remember a way to return to a previous view (and even to a few more previous views). I.E. - if a loop has been set up and then by mistake that loop is lost by clicking elsewhere, or if a carefully selected number of events has been lost in a similiar fashion I seem to remember a keyboard command that would restore that loop and the identical view of the timeline.

Maybe it's my memory that could use a Previous View function .. .
