Print-to-Tape

Problem solved! One of the ideas I got from this forum was to enable DMA on my HD's. Once the setting was changed printing to tape was a breeze! Regarding my motherboard, I have an MSI K7T Pro w/via 133 Chipset. I have had no other problems with it. One more thing, be sure to add a few blank frames to your productions because your first few frames are sometimes dropped when printing to tape... GOOD LUCK to ALL!

There is a record engage delay pref which will allow you to tweak SF Video Capture so you don't chop off those first few frames. The default works with almost all Sony DV cameras, but each camera model varies slightly.
