I've reported this wierd little problem in previous threads. Now, I've downloaded 3.0a and had a fresh go at printing to tape from the timeline, video device control disabled. It appears to be working fine, now, except that VV30 puts a huge blank spot at the beginning of my project (approximately 1:20 of black screen). I've double checked the dialog settings concerning leaders, and have tried 0.00 up to 5.00 seconds. I've also tried printing a looped section of my timeline, selecting the entire timeline as a loop, printing the timeline without selecting any of it. The results appear to be the same.

Incidentally, my project will play from the timeline just fine, so the long black section I'm getting during print is not part of the project timeline.

I've only had time to work with an existing project (perhaps this problem would go away if I were working with a project totally created in version 3.0a??) created using 3.0, if that makes any difference.

For what it's worth, I doubt that SF did anything in developing 3.0a that would affect my timeline printing problem . . . I'm guessing that whatever improvement I'm seeing in that area with 3.0a is just the result of a fresh install.

Any comments from anyone on this problem? Has anyone else experienced it?
