Print To Tape in VV4 not working?

My problem is with Print To Tape. I tried to print to tape using my DVCorder as the converter b/w my firewire & VCR. This works fine if using the TV, connected to the VCR, as the External Monitor.

But when using PTT, it shows the colour bars, and that's it! A dialog pops up saying "Time Left: 2:00" and that counts down (2 minutes) and still nothing. It seems to just sit there.

PS VV3.0 worked fine, but I can't get V4.0 to work!

Try rendering the timeline as an AVI file then open the file in PTT and output it that way.

I am having the same problem. Sometimes it just sits there for five minutes before finally giving me the tones. I am also using V4.0 build 115.
