Print to Tape interrupted

When I open a renedered file and try to "print to tape", it will randomly stop or skip video and/or audio. If sounds like the head in the camera is removing from the tape at a fraction of a second. I checked the IRQ, changes IRQ, removed all PCI cards and shifted unibrain capture card to a new slot. Shut down all open programs. Turned of all energy saving programs. Had two different cameras (that worked previously on video factory 2.0)and now will not properly work. Both respond the same. I can capture with out a hitch. Use my camera as a Dv to Analog adapter and record to VHS. I would like to save my work to DV tape. I down loaded VIA chipset driver updates. No luck at all!!! Any help would be appreciated

Hi Bill,

You know the drill... please report system specs, video apps, etc.

Project settings: temp folder, prerenders folder, recordings folder...

NTSC DV, or other?

Also, were you using the Capture PTT, or the PTT from timeline?

We'll try to help,

MPH

NTSC DV, lower field first, 720 x 480 default setting on Vegas 3.0c. Using Pentium 4 1.5Ghz with 512 sdram. 2-40 gig 7200 drives. Windows\temp folder 32 gig of space. Prerenderd and recorded folder c:\program files\sonicfoundry\vegas 32 gig of space. All settings are on default. I'm using capture PTT. The video device listed is none. I change it to OHCI Compliant with the same results.
