Print to Tape Problem

I am attempting to send a rendered Vegas project out of my Dell laptop through a ADS PYRO DV/Link and into a VCR. It looks and sounds good for a while, but then there is an audio and video jitter that occurs off and on. At one point near the end of the 1 hour project, the screen split in half such that the top of the picture was on the bottom and the bottom on the top. Help! Is this a software or hardware problem?

I would check the veg file to see if the split screen is not in project. If you did some slow-down affect the end of timeline could be affected. The jitter could come from dirty heads in VHS or bad tape.

If you've had success in the past and this is a new "feature" appearing, then what I'm going to say, maybe of little relevance. Check to see if your Power Management on your Dell's laptop is set to Always On. Check it out.
