Print to Tape Rerender

I just read the last thread on Print to Tape. I've been struggling with this issue because no matter what I try I always get a popup that says "More than 80% has to be re-rendered, do you want to continue?"

As a test, I captured a short clip from my Sony MiniDV camcorder, put it into the timeline, made no changes, went to "tools" selected Print to Tape, followed the instructions (and did not include any bars or black) set it to NTSCDV, and I still get the rerender warning!

If I use the Print to Tape function that's part of the capture screen, I have no problem.

I'm wondering why an unchanged file needs to rerender? When you're dealing with a 60 minute piece, it more than doubles the time.

A couple of things you might check

1) What is the bitrate of your audio that is captured?
2) Do you have any Video plugins that have some how become part of your default setup.

I've gone back and matched the properties of the video on the time line to the video setting in the Print to Tape dialog box. The audio in both cases is uncompressed 48,000 hz stereo.

I have not rerendered anything. I'm taking a captured clip and printing back onto tape. I'm not sure where to check if I have a video plugin as part of the default. Looking at the general properties for the piece on the timeline I do find the aviplug.dll. listed.

Yet, with everyhting matching, when I click finish, it get a quick progress meter and then the warning that it has to rerender over 80%.
