Print to tape stops at 1:40:15:11 on 2 hour video

Trying to get 2 hour video to print to tape (OHCI-board to Sony TRV-900). It has stopped 3 times at 1:40:15:11. WHY?
Playing project from timeline, it plays uninterrupted right through that time spot.
I have changed tapes in TRV-900. Stopped again - same spot.
I have set VV to control TRV-900. Stopped same place.
I have set VV to allow manual control of TRV-900. Stopped same place.
Previous projects longer than 1 hour 45 minutes have printed to tape fine.

What possible field or setting am I not seeing that could cause this?

Can you render to a NEW AVI and try printing it?

The video time point in question and 1 hour 35 minutes before it and 15 minutes after it are just one video track and companion audio track - that's it!

Why would I bother to render that again? ie. wouldn't it just be a copy of the troubled section?

The suggestion you give also assumes the problem is with the video/audio rather than any settings in VV. Yet it plays fine from the timeline when I start it from 10 seconds before the problem point and play 10-20 seconds past the problem point.

What VV settings might impact the occurrence of this problem?

Stretch out the timeline fully and look for a space or blank frame, trim it or close it up and try it again.

I think I tried that, but I appreciate the suggestion. I'll take another look tonight.

Try selecting a range on the timeline from just a few seconds before the problem to a few seconds after. Print just that loop region to tape. Does that work?

Excellent suggestion, but I have already gotten past this bug. Though I could not see any problem with the video or audio even when expanding the timeline fully out (or fully zoomed in! - however you want to say it), I did do some tightening of edits in the affected time point, and it successfully went Print to Tape out to 1:58:40.

Thanks for the suggestions!
