I am producing a 30 minute outdoor TV series that will be broadcast on a network. I need the best possible "image" from Vegas. I hear some rumors that Vegas 6 will offer Decklink support with 4:2:2 and uncompressed support. I am thinking that I can now print to tape uncompressed so I won't have the famous "DV 25 artifacts" especially around titles etc. Am I going down the right road with this idea? I am sure I will need a computer upgrade for a raid configuration etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
