I bought some at cdrom2go.com - bought the -r US Digital media spool of 50 1x disks for around $65. so far these have worked fine. just beware, their lowest cost shipping takes around a week + (to the east coast, that is, via ground). if you buy here & need sooner you need to pay more to ship. maybe their shipping to west coast is faster.

The printable ones are always more expensive than the ones with the makers logos screened on them. Even to get them standard finish without the screen printing costs more. You have to ask why that is, guess its batch sizes but for screen or thermal printing you need a clean surface and I'd imagine the vast bulk of CDs and DVDs are used by dup houses.

Might want to monitor Dealnews.com, or check their archives. Often enough cheap prices on bulk, & while they may not all be printable type listed, gives you name/link to the sellers where you can check it out further.

I purchase my printables from RIMA.COM
The last batch of RITEK 2X 100 count was $1.85 about a month ago.
This is bulk spindle so you will need cases or sleeves.

Beware of low dollar DVDs. Quality isn't always there.

I stick with name brand DVDs. Maxell and Verbatim both have printable surface DVDs available but cost a little more. They are less than $3.00 each.

Anyone know where to get them in Australia?

The yesmicro address I gave was for Verbatim DVD+R's 2.4x printable. 20 spindle for $50.95 + shipping.
