I have been using Vegas since v3 and am pretty set in my ways. In previous versions, I have always been able to work the same, but VPro 22 seems to have taken away some of the options for me, or at least that I can find.

The first is the ability to make the Space Bar to be Play/Pause rather than Play/Stop. The default mode seems to be that when the Vegas timeline is playing, if I hit the space bar the cursor returns to where it was when I started play rather than staying where it is when I press the space bar. I can do this with the Enter key, but my fingers are used to doing it with the Space bar. In previous versions, I could make that change.

Secondly, I am used to being able to grab a selection of the time line (all events) just by simply clicking and dragging on any empty space below the tracks, now in V22 I can only do thins by clicking in the top timeline header section, but the problem with that is that there are often marker tabs in the way and I cannot always click exactly where I want to. Previously I could do this anywhere so long as I was not clicking on an actual clip. But now if I click and drag, it just changes tools. Is there are way to get the previous action back? Hidden settings somewhere?
