Pro Res Bug

Is there a place to report bugs?  I think I have one regarding Pro Res playback.

I have a Pro Res File that plays back in VP13 ok, and Quicktime ok, but in VP14 it plays poorly (laggy looking picture)

Curious that the audio is interpreted differently. and the framerate is as well.

Quicktime Movie Inspector has the audio at 16bit Little Indian 48k

Do you have Mediainfo on  your computer? What does it say? QT should be more accurate than Vegas.

That seems to agree with QT, so I think Vegas 14 is interpreting it totally wrong. I would send a report to support.

James Moore wrote on 9/27/2016, 4:41 PM

I just tried plowing throught the contact technical support at Magix.com and couldn't find any place to open a support ticket for VP14.  If anyone has a link that'd be handy...

You have to look at the support FAQ on the customer service page at MAGIX.com and then click the option that you question is not answered here and THEN you get the forum entry page for a support request.

James Moore wrote on 9/28/2016, 11:28 AM

I have made a support request and included all the info.  We shall see what they say.
