pro titler

I made a title of black lettering for some words and lime green for others. First, how do I change the track color to white because I changed the background in the PTT but it goes back to black when played. Also I need to have a background around the middle two words in pink and more cloud-like, not rectangular by selecting background for the words/letters. Thanks

Hello joejon,
I know this isn't an answer to your question about ProTitler, please forgive me...

For specific colorizing, strokes, and feathering around text ... I use an image editor to make sure it is correct from the start and not a compromise between what I want and what PT can deliver.
Save it in png format for the transparent layer ...

I apologize for insulting your intelligence if you know this... I'm just trying to help ease your frustration and get you to a solution a bit quicker. . .

Here is a tip that may save you a year. Do the basic, basic titles you want with the Pro titler. Render out to a lossless format then use track motion, effects and layers to do what you want. Just me, it will be much easier.

I know that that doesn't answer you question. I didn't really understand what you are asking but wanted to say something.
