Pro Titler Timeline with Main Timeline

I have grown quite fond of this method of making things move through keyframes in Vegas.
I right click a clip and choose Pan/Crop then I click on the Pan/Crop timeline and the playhead on the main timeline moves to that exact spot. I can then make keyframes in the Pan/Crop timeline, for example, where I have markers set. That way if I want something to grow or move, I can do it at the precise time I want to.
I have been messing with ProTitler quite a bit lately and it doesn't seem to me that it offers that same "functionality" with the main timeline. Is this true? Any advice from anyone? Thanks

Yes & No.

Obviously it does not have the functionalilty to define non ProTitler characteristics - but virtually everything in ProTitler is keyframeable and accuractely so.

For example, if you wanted something to make it grow (since you mentioned it) you would use scale. IF you wanted it to move, you would automate offset and so forth

I know I can make it grow and move, I just want to know exactly on the timeline where I am in the PT clip.

Ah - soz - misunderstood ya. None of the media generators sync their timeline with the main one do they?

The transitions and Video fx etc do - but not the media generators.. Not even the simple text does so, nor gradient. Not a bad point that - (unless I'm missing a setting somewhere?)

You can set up a loop on the timeline and watch in Preview as you tweak settings.

Syncing with the Main Timeline for any Media Generators (now here with ProTT)has been wanted for some time now. The way I get around this is to LOOP the selection and adjust in REALTIME - something that Vegas DOES do very well. Once I flowing along I can adjust and set markers for, maybe, cross track syncing.

But yes, Syncing for GenMeds - oh yes please!
