Pro-Type format question

Is there a way create a simple text box in PPT that I can paste text into without the text going far wide of the screen limits? For example I have a paragraph of text I need to paste on screen within the safe limits but I can't seem to find a simple way of doing this. When I try to resize the text box it just compresses the text.

Thanks,

Marc

format the text in a text app.

The way I see it, the text pasted into the text box takes on the properties assigned to the that text box. so, prior to pasting in your text, adjust the font size, font family etc. The text pasted in will take on that font size and all other properties assigned. A font size of .5 should stay on the screen, then you can adjust from there -- I find that 80 character lines don't work. as well as lines of 40 characters. You can reformat the text in a text app (as suggested) easier then Ptype Once into Ptype, a crawl of the text is easy to do.

Anyone see a better way?

p-type seems to auto-line wrap @ 80 char's when I paste text in that's longer.

Thanks for the workaround. That does the trick but hopefully in future releases we'll have more control like making text boxes in Photoshop.
