Pro-Type Titler Noob Question

I've gotta be missing the obvious here ...

So I have the type coming in one letter at a time for two words, works just as I want it in the Pro-Type Titler window but it's not working on the projects timeline. Anyone mind telling me what I'm doing wrong here?

If I get you on this point, you're saying you see it work in Ptype but nothing is happening at the same time in the main preview window....
With Ptype still open you can drag/play the main timeline cursor. Should work then. One of the problems with Ptype is that the Ptype cursor does not sync to the main timeline. You can preview an animation in the Ptype window, but to see it on the main timeline you have to get the main timeline cursor going separately. They don't run in sync. This is not how most of Vegas works. Huge improvement opportunity for Vegas.

Hope I understood this right?
