within the pro type titler, how do you apply curves?
also, can you add a "collection" effect to pre-exsisting text within the pro type titler window?

with the text selection selected (not the characters) there's a "path" option in one of the tabs.

can't apply collections to already existing text. :(

Probably true as regards being done easily -- but I took up the challenge
and found a way to sort of apply a collection (at least a popup) to existing text.
Worthwhile in regards to the learning curve on PTT.

I've found that the best way to use a collection in ProType Titler is to add the collection, then select/edit the words provided as an example. This way you transform the collection into your own title.

I'm using the collections to gradually learn PTT.
They aren't easy to figure out for someone who has never used similar software -- and the help provided is not much but has some value -- but working at it by trial and error I"ve figured out some of the concepts like cascading....very powerful. Worth learning.
