I've recently downloaded the trial version of Vegas 5 and I'm quite satisfied with this lovely piece of software. Although I have experienced a problem. When adding some AVI's I noticed that it only added the audio data and not the video data. Very weird...
Here are the settings of these files:

Filetype: Video For Windows
Audio: 8000 kHz; 4bit; mono
Video: Stream attributes could not... (rest not available to read)
Streams: 2

Indeed, these files are of very very poor quality (made by a lowbudget digicam) and I guess the files are compressed.
