Problem burning cd with effects on master chain

Im trying to burn a cd with 12 songs. it works fine when i burn it without an effect on the Master bus chain, but when I insert an effect on the master bus chain, it will burn normally and take the expected amount of time, but then will not play in any cd player. im pretty new at this vegas thing, if anyone could help me out, thatd be awesome.

Try "Render to new track" first, then burn that to CD. Trying to burn "on the fly" with potentially CPU-hogging plugins is asking too much from your CPU.

But don't forget to turn the master chain effects off before burning the newly rendered track.

will the new track be rendered with the effect that was applied to the master bus?

Yes, that's what rendering does whether it's to a new track or an exported file.

What efx are you inserting into the master bus? You should be able to at least apply some eq and compression without having to render unless your system is really underpowered. Also, are all of the audio tracks (events) on the same track in Vegas? If not, this can really bog things down when burning a CD.

I have Arctic PSP Vintage Warmer on the master bus, and there are two tracks in the project, because of intros and other things i needed two tracks.

OK, then you definitely should render to a single stereo track before burning. Obviously you can try rendering with the PSP or wait and insert it at the burn stage. I would suggest trying both so you will know what your system is capable of.
