1) I am using Windows 98SE (up-to-date with all drivers, etc.) and Screenblast 3.0a.
2) Applied a Video FX to a portion of the video. The problem has happened once using a Video FX to remove the yellow tint from video shot in incandescent lighting and once using a Video FX to brighten a dark scene. Only one VIdeo FX was in use on the clip at a time.
3) Not sure what the proper term is for the play controls associated with the 3 video tracks and 3 audio tracks, but this is where I had started previewing the clip.
4) Wanted to adjust the Video FX, so I opened the Video FX window to edit the FX parameters. The video was still playing in the preview window.
5) Made an adjustment, then clicked the play button on the FX window while the video was still playing.
6) Application than crashed at this point displaying an error message about a page fault.
This happened twice tonight and I had been doing a lot of editing. The second time it happened, it killed my PC and I had to reboot the system. Just tried to duplicate it again to try and get more info to document here, but it would not happen again.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Thanks...
Al
