I was plugging along editing my short clips with Sony Vegas and loving it until about three weeks ago when it stopped importing the audio, it would just place the video in the timeline.

I tried everything including resetting everything to the default settings.

Has anyone had any problems like this?

Oh and on top of it all I figured I'd delete the program and reinstall it and now when I reinstalled it I get a pop up screen that tells me that my trial version is up and I'll need to buy it. I can't get past that screen even though I'm installing from the cd I bought at BJ's wholesale club.
