Problem importing .jpg files

Hi guys,
I'm trying to add .jpg stills posted on 'ofoto' site (online photoalbums) to a project and cannot get it right.
First I save a picture on c-drive, then import it to the Vegas 4 project. The picture looks relatively fine when viewed from the Media Pool, but gets blurred as soon as added to the timeline. Did anybody experience this?
Your help is greately appreciated.

The photos that Ofoto shows you on their web site are actually lower resolution than the photos you uploaded. The preview images are only 448x336. This is less than the 720x480 resolution of DV in Vegas and so this might account for the photos looking a bit blurred because they are being stretched to fill the frame.

thanks Johnny, this seems to be the answer.
still pazzled, however, why there is a difference when viewing the same picture from the timeline and the media pool...
