Problem with 9c

I did not have this problem with 9b.
Have installed 9c 32 bit on a windows xp 32 bit sp3 also tried a clean install of 9c.
After a while I loosing some of the video footage (DV widescreen) I can see the thumbnail on the time line but in the preview windows it is nothing and if I open the clip in the trimmer I only see red frames. If I restart Vegas it diapers but after a while it will be back again. It seams not to affect photos or text only the video clips. I have read here that some people have problem with the Photos not with the video. I can always go back to 9b, but it appears that the preview is much better in 9c than in 9b.

where's the video stored? Could be a drive going kaputt.

I didn't know I was that funny . I don't even know what that word means, have to look it up in my dictionary.
What I was trying to say was "If I restart Vegas the problem disappears but after a while it will be back again"

No problem, the only problem is with 9C. I have now re-installed 9b and I have no disappearing video or red frames. Must be something in my system 9c doesn't like since no one else seams to have this problem.
