Problem with Batch Capturing

I'm having problems with Batch Capturing. I am looking to be able to preview a tape and log my in-points and out-points via the tape. A list should be made showing my choices.

Then I push Batch capture and presto, it begins capturing my logs. What's crazy is that - long ago - I've done this with Vegas. Now I'm lost.

Is is timecode in/out or Log In/out. When I do the former it just resets but I don't see a log. When I do the latter it puts a clip in the bin that doesn't reflect the time that I attempted.

There is no reference to Log In/Out that I can find.

Thanks,
Thomas

Type in your in/out (or hit the button to pop in the current tape position).
Hit Log in/out.
Repeat.

To capture now:Hit Batch capture.
To capture later: Save As xxx.sfvidcap.

thanks garry,

however, as soon as i click in 'out' box (or vice versa), the other box revets to either tape position at time, or some random tc.

any suggestions?

other than that, i'm very happy with vv4

and thanks again
